You might have guessed it, but I can't continue blogging here anymore. For several reasons I have to abandon this blog and start a new one elsewhere. Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed my posts so far and I hope to here from you on the new Bibberblog (where I'll have much more webspace - Yessss) !

A little insight in the making of process of Mone's birthcard..

First I made a quick scetch to sense if the idea is workable:

 Next, I do another sketch to find the correct composition of the card - which allows me also to verify that there will be enough space for all required texts.

 After having made a final version of the card in black and white (often it is a copy-paste of different drawings), I do some aquarel color tests since colors aren't really my thing.

 I came up with these final colors. I often make the mistake of using to many different colors in one and the same drawing.

Luckily Saskia helped me figure out how to solve the color issue to result in a more homogenous result. (As published before on this blog: click here)

Last week we celebrated Elmo & Mone's grandmother's 60th birthday. We had a great day at the Atomium. The restaurant was incredibly nice: great food, very children-friendly service. And as you can see, Elmo was fascinated with the view..

Thank God for this invention.

Even if we said we didn't want to give this to our children, I just can't imagine life without it right now.
